A structured cabling system is a hierarchical, standards-based layout (work area, horizontal, backbone, equipment room, entrance facility) so moves, adds, and changes do not become a tangle of point-to-point cables. We design to TIA-568 / ISO/IEC 11801 practices used worldwide for commercial buildings.

Copper cabling

We specify and install balanced twisted-pair according to the required application (1G, 2.5/5G, 10G, and short-reach higher rates).

  • Cat6 for typical 1 Gb/s desktop and camera drops
  • Cat6A for 10 Gb/s to 100 m, Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 APs, and dense 10G access
  • Cat7 / Cat8 where the design or client standard requires screened high-frequency copper
  • Patch panels, keystone jacks, and factory or field-terminated patch cords

Topology and outlets

Horizontal cabling stays within channel-length limits; backbone cabling links floors and buildings. Work-area outlets and faceplates are labeled to match the patch-panel grid.

  • Backbone cabling between MDF / IDF rooms
  • Horizontal cabling from floor distributors to desks, APs, and cameras
  • Data outlet installation, faceplates, and information outlets (single, dual, and multimedia)

Kaizen Solution designs, supplies, installs, and commissions this scope for offices, industrial sites, campuses, and data facilities across Egypt — with documentation, training, and after-sales support.

FAQ

Should new offices use Cat6 or Cat6A?
Cat6A is the safer default for new commercial floors if 10 Gb/s, PoE++ cameras, or high-density Wi-Fi is expected within the cabling lifetime. Cat6 remains acceptable for cost-sensitive 1 Gb/s desks when the design is documented.
